Welcome friends and family to the St. Thomas the Apostle Preschool and Kindergarten Website.  We are excited you have chosen to visit us. 

For those families who are interested in attending St. Thomas, we hope you will find the answers here to your questions about our school programs.  We look forward to meeting you.

For those families currently attending St. Thomas, we hope you will find new and useful information about our community and your child’s experience at school.  This is a glimpse of the unique community we call St. Thomas the Apostle Preschool and Kindergarten.

It is hard to believe another school year is underway. The children are settling into the classroom routines and beginning to feel comfortable with their teachers. It is great to see and hear the children entering school smiling and laughing. The first few days of school are always emotional for the children and their families. As the school days continue, the classrooms’ dynamics begin to develop and mature.

Community Prayer

Every Wednesday we will all meet in the Church for a ten to fifteen minute prayer time. During Community Prayer the children learn about church manners, symbols in the church, Bible stories, religious songs, prayers, and much more. Community Prayer begins at 9:30 a.m. in the Church. All parents are welcome to attend.

 

Enrichment Program

Each afternoon there is an enrichment class offered for all children to participate in:

Monday:  Spanish with Ms. Mayra

Tuesday:  American Sign Language with Ms. Emily

Wednesday:  Let’s Get Physical (Movement) with Ms. Lynn

Thursday:  Art & Literacy with Ms. Amanda

 Extended  Enrichment Program

Tuesday:  Little Kritter Soccer 2:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. $40.00 for 4 sessions. Make checks payable to:  MSA (can register online at www.littlekritterssoccer.com).

 Wednesday:  Piano Lesson with Cecilia Whitby Studio 2:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. (2 sessions will be available depending on enrollment), $50.00 for 4 sessions. Make checks payable to: St. Thomas Preschool.

 Thursday:  Martial Arts with Black Belt 4 Life 2:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. $69 per month. Make checks payable to:  Black Belt 4 Life.
